Breakfast At Pamela's

Upon my first arrival in the lovely city of Pittsburgh, my husband Briguy took me on our first food adventure in the city in search for breakfast. He had heard of this place from the hotel staff  as they said it was one of the Pittsburgh staples. So we traveled several blocks away to a small tiny diner called Pamela's . It had a very welcoming atmosphere, packed with customers all happily enjoying there meals. My husband had been there once before and was recommending the Corned beef hash with lyonnaise potatoes (thinly sliced potatoes, with butter and parsley). Growing with a part Irish background I had to try it. I was not disappointed. The meat was juicy, with bits of it being crunchy from being sauteed. The potatoes were nicely cooked (think scalloped potatoes in texture) and had a wonderful buttery taste.
